SAT Summer Institutes are ideal for students that need an intensive preparation program during the summer. This one-week institute is held over 4 consecutive days and requires students to continue to practice their skills in the weeks and months leading up to the fall test dates. Students are expected to actively participate in class and in the online review sessions. Whether you are seeking assistance with the Reading, Writing and Language or Math section of the SAT, this course will take the mystery out of the new exam. Learn useful study and test-taking strategies and time management skills to help limit test anxiety. Our comprehensive program emphasizes the SAT test components including test taking strategies, question formats, process of elimination, math, reading, and writing and language. Students receive in-depth review of the exam materials, insight into strategies for succeeding on standardized tests, and a comprehensive study plan. Class sessions use real test questions to show just how these skills are tested. This affordable and comprehensive course meets Monday through Thursday from 9 am – 3 pm for a total of 20 educational hours. Students are encouraged to continue to practice their skills in between classes, leading to greater opportunities for learning and interaction with our expert instructors. SAT official textbook and workbook are included along with 4 online review sessions held in September before first test date. July 24-27.
Each week of camp has its own theme. Parents may choose as many weeks as they like. We offer half or full day with the option of a 7:30 early arrival. Half day will be 8:30-11:30 and full day 8:30-5:30. We will have themes ranging from Lego and STEM week to arts and crafts, plants and animals and a SC History week. Field trips will be part of every week. June 12- Aug. 11.
Gymnastics camp is a full day of activities including gymnastics, games, outside fun, crafts, open play, trampoline, snacks, and more! Children will learn gymnastics skills on all of the equipment along with fun play and games designed around gymnastics events. June 19-23, July 10-14, July 31-August 4.
TCMU camps offer learning and play featuring STEAM-based programming. There are weekly half-day camp themes for children in Preschool – Grade 3, and special LEGOS robotics camps for ages 10-14. Camp themes include Art, Coding, Invention, LEGOs, Dinosaurs, Space, Theatre and Media & Animation. June 12 – August 11, 2017.

This summer we will be “traveling” to Spain and exploring its wonderful culture and art. The artists we will study include Baroque artist Juan Sanchez Cotan, Modern artist Joan Miro, Cubists artists Maria Blanchard and Pablo Picasso, and architect Antoni Guadi. As part of the summer experience we are able to once again offer a dark room project where the children will learn how to print and develop photographic paper! Projects will include glass mosaic, multimedia collage, still-life acrylic painting, plaster sculpture and a visit to the dark room.
